Vacuums Suck
Creativity doesn’t happen within a vacuum (though creative things can certainly happen with a vaccum) and thus the idea of this website; an idea generously borrowed from some fine-looking folks in Portland, Prtlnd and Des Moines and remixed by the fine-smelling folks at Cramer Dev.
It’s a way to connect our community of creatives amongst, between, within, and through the corn fields, urban shelters and small towns of the Greater Iowa City/Cedar Rapids Metropolis.
The hope here is naively simple: by connecting each one of us, we connect all of us—to design gizmos, make films, paint pictures, write in syntax, share coffee, wear sweet hats, bake pies and scribble crazy ideas on absurdly small napkins—with one goal in mind: to create, however it is you might do that.
So, add yourself (it’s free) and let’s see how good we all look together. Then search, study, voyeur and connect… because secretly, no one really wants to vacuum alone.
