Short Bio
I am a poet and this sensibility informs the majority of my perceptions and interactions with the world. I also write short fiction, am a freelance journalist, co-founder of a women's publishing collective and a breakfast cafe for the homeless. I have a long history in political organizing and development ~ beginning at age 13 when I coordinated a drive to raise money to help with flood relief in Bangladesh. I also conduct interviews with fellow writers, artists, musicians and community activists so if you're working on a particular project you'd like to promote, let me know.
